We have almost done it. We have an estimated 17ish days left and we have offically kicked this deployments butt!!
As I sit here and think at all that went into this deployment it makes me wonder where the past 11 months have gone..Sydnie and I have moved across the country [TWICE], we have packed and unpacked..arranged and rearranged..Sydnie got to know her grandparents aunt and uncle, cousins and anyone else who is important in our lives..all that is left is watching our hero walk into that gym and be returned to us!!
This isnt our first go around with deployment and last deployment it was sink or swim. I went from living at home to live 2500 miles away from everyone I know..having to be the cable guy, repair man, chef, and housekeeper all in the matter of days. And let me tell you it was a HUGE change to the life I had at home. But i also learned a lot about myself..and I taught myself to do things I never thought I would have to do. And because of it I feel like I am a stronger person. I made it!! This deployment however has been full of all new challenges.
